Terms and Conditions

Please review the following terms and conditions carefully before finalizing your travel reservations with Rooh-e-Kashmir.

General Terms & Conditions

  1. Hotel Check-in time is 02:00 PM & check out time is 12:00 PM.
  2. Early check-in is totally at the discretion of hotel management.
  3. No Smoking & Drinking is allowed within the Houseboat premises. Smoking and Drinking is highly prohibited within the Hotels or as per their policies.
  4. No vehicles are directly allowed to pick up from Jammu Airport/Railway station or Katra railway station. Our driver will co-ordinate with you for the same.
  5. No commercial vehicle provided by the company is allowed in Aru, Betaab & Chandanwari Valleys in Pahalgam or internal bowl of Gulmarg or during Sightseeing of Zero point in Sonamarg except the local Union Taxis.
  6. The cab provided by the company will be with the traveller for a specific period of the day through out the journey however driver may change by the order of the company during the trip.
  7. Please note until the decided/discussed booking amount is not reflected in our accounts all the confirmations will be treated as tentative.
  8. The 70% of the package amount must be paid a week before the arrival for smooth check-in & Check-outs of the hotels.
  9. Rates are net and non-commissionable.
  10. The vehicle provide to the client is not at his/her disposal.
  11. Extra bed included means extra bed as per hotel own discretion. Some hotels provide rollout beds in case there is no provision of extra bed.
  12. No refund will be made against any utilized services.
  13. Any additional services taken by the guest not included in the package to be charged as per prevalent rates.
  14. Travel Agency will not be responsible for any additional service taken without informing the agent or our company associate.
  15. In case of any breakdown of vehicle due to mishap, travellers are requested to wait until the other cab will arrive.
  16. Travel company is not responsible for any mis-happening, theft, loss, illegal or unlawful activities during the tour.
  17. Any of the inclusions provided, if missed/cancelled by the travellers or by Government authorities shall not be refunded.
  18. Hotels if sold-out on your arrival dates, itinerary will be shifted as per the hotel availability. Although even if that wont work, the similar option will be provided (With your proper consent).
  19. No other person unknown or known will be allowed within the hotel or cab, if any mishap happens, traveller is itself responsible.
  20. Please note that any purchase of Dry fruits, Shawls, Paper-Mache, Carpets, or other items-whether bought on your own or suggested by a driver-is entirely your choice, and you are fully responsible for checking the quality, authenticity, and price.

SOPs DURING AMARNATH YATRA

  • Amarnath Ji Yatra will start from 3 June 2026 to 28 August 2026.
  • For Tourist (non Yatri) the timings for destination sightseeing is from 08:00 A.M to 04:00 P.M. (I.e. entry timing to the destination is after 08:00 am in the morning and exit must be before 4:00 p.m.)
  • No registered Yatri shall be allowed to embark on yatra without RFID card.
  • Don't ignore the symptoms of high-altitude illness.
  • Don't drink alcohol, caffeinated drink, or smoke.
  • Don't stop at places which are marked by warning notices on mountain.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  1. Carry a Post-Paid Sim.
  2. Please be informed that the commercial & private vehicles are not allowed to do the entire movement or sightseeing coverage of the internal areas of Gulmarg, Pahalgam or Sonamarg due to the local Union restrictions allowed by the Government & Tourism Department of Jammu & Kashmir.
  3. Assistance will be provided through out the trip during your journey with ROOH E KASHMIR.
  4. In case of any inconvenience within the trip, hotel or houseboat, please get connected to your tour operator or our operational team for further assistance. Operational Managers Number is 7006159542.
  5. The welcome gesture is not offered to everyone, as we receive many guests in Kashmir. It is up to the operations team to manage this, though we try to welcome everyone warmly whenever possible.
  6. Chained Vehicles from Tangmarg to Gulmarg to be booked separately on spot for the smooth transfer during snow if not included. Once included, which cab will be provided will be completely up-to the management/discretion of Gulmarg Union/GDA.
  7. Any amendment in the to the booking made within 21 days of arrival will incur additional charges as per the prevailing rates at the time of amendment.
  8. Welcome & Cake Ceremony is always complimentary from team Rooh E Kashmir, though the provision of the gesture is always to the discretion of Operation Management.
  9. Guest meet is always important to team Rooh E Kashmir, though its very limited as we could not meet every guest at the same time. Especially in month of Ramazan.
  10. Kindly keep a note that 5 Star & 4 Star properties in Winter have black-out dates from 21 Dec - 05 Jan or as per hotel own discretion.

CANCELLATION POLICIES

  1. Reservations must be cancelled before 21 days from the date of the arrival for the free cancellation.
  2. Reservations cancelled within the 21 days of from the date of arrival will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the entire length of stay. In-case of early departure, retention equivalent to the balance package will be charged.
  3. In case of no show 100% retention will be charged.
  4. An advance payment of 30%-40% must be paid at the time of booking and 70%-80% payment must be cleared before 7 days of your arrival.
  5. Cancellation of 4/5 Star hotels will be as per their hotel cancellation policies.

ADDITIONAL EXPENSES

  • Entrance tickets for Gardens Rs: 20-100 per person per Garden.
  • Pony Ride at Sonamarg/Gulmarg/Pahalgam will be Rs: 1500-2500 per person depending on the spot & place you visit.
  • Guide charges Rs: 1000 per day for Gulmarg.
  • Snow cab at Gulmarg are mandatory as per Government order in case of Snow & will cost Rs: 2500-5500.
  • ATV will cost Rs: 1500 - Rs: 3500 at Tangmarg or Gulmarg per person.
  • Union Taxi from Sonamarg upto Zero point (Optional) - Rs: 4500 - 5000 Per cab Sonamarg Trip is also subject to road and weather conditions during winter months.
  • Union Cab at Pahalgam for a trip to Aru Valley, Betab Valley and Chandanwari - Rs: 2500 - 3500 for full cab.

BOOKING DETAILS

  • Share your Adhaar Card / PAN Card / Driver License / other identity card for booking.
  • An advance payment of 30%-40% as discussed on the call with travel consultant for the trip on the account of ROOH E KASHMIR which Is mentioned below.
  • Share your identity card and screenshot of token amount to the concerned travel consultant whom you talked.
  • After the verification, bookings will be processed, you will be receiving the confirmation in format of pdf on WhatsApp or Mail.
  • Once confirmation is received by traveller, at least 70%-80% remaining amount must be cleared before 7 days of arrival date.
  • Remaining payment will be collected before the check-out of first hotel (i.e. 1st or 2nd day of trip).
